Mrs. Theresa Marby

Mrs. Theresa (Charland) Marby, 85, of Adams, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2017 at Berkshire Medical Center's North Adams campus.
She was born in Pittsfield on June 11, 1932, a daughter of the late Lorenzo and Beatrice (Lussier) Charland. She attended schools in Adams and Pittsfield and graduated from the former St. Joseph's High school, Pittsfield.
Theresa worked at McDonald's in Adams for 35 years until the time of her death.
She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs and St. Stanislaus Kostka Churches. She was a member and former longtime president of the Burnette-Bednarz Post 1995, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Mrs. Marby was the wife of the late Frank Marby, whom she married on February 14, 1953.
Survivors include her brothers Armand and Louis Charland and a sister Lillian Charland. She was predeceased by a sister Jeanne Charland and brothers Philip and Leo Charland. Marby also leaves behind two daughters, a granddaughter and a great grandson. She was predeceased by a grandson.
Funeral services and burial will be private in the spring at the request of the family.
There will be no calling hours.
