Mrs. Joan Marie (Clermont) Trimarchi, 74, of Williamstown, formerly of Adams, died on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Williamstown Commons.
She was born in Adams on July 22, 1943, a daughter of the late Harvey and Emily (Cudak) Clermont. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School. She then attended Salem State College, Salem, MA and earned her Bachelors in Education.
Mrs. Trimarchi last worked as the business teacher at the Charles H. McCann Technical High School for 25 years, until retiring. Earlier, she had taught at Drury High School and for the Adams-Cheshire Regional School District.
She was a communicant of St Patrick / St. Raphael's Parish, Williamstown, and while in Adams, was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church.
Her husband, Donald Trimarchi, whom she married on August 2, 1968, died March 20, 2016.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Trimarchi of Ames, IA and her daughter, Maria Trimarchi Coughlan of Florence, OR;
one brother, Harvey G. Clermont, M.D. on Shrewsbury, MA;
two sisters, Eileen Clermont Rattner of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and Susan Clermont Odenwald of Kensington, MD;
two grandchildren, Claire and Benjamin; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Monday, April 9, at 9:00 A.M. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, McKinley Square, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor.
Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.
Calling hours are Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
