Mrs. Jessie Janina (Kiczak) Rusek, 92, of Adams, died on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the North Adams Commons.
She was born in Praga, Poland on November 30, 1924. She was a survivor of the Holocaust, having been in a concentration camp in Siberia for three years. She moved to the United States following her marriage.
Mrs. Rusek was primarily a homemaker but had worked for St. Stanislaus Kostka School.
Her husband, Louis J. Rusek is deceased.
She is survived by a son, George Rusek and his wife Susan of Adams and a daughter Christine Weslowski of the state of Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son Leonard Rusek
The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 2, at 10:30 A.M. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Adams.
Calling hours are Saturday morning from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
