Miss Annette Irene Desautels, 90, of Adams, died on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Williamstown Commons.
She was born in Adams on January 16, 1928, a daughter of the late Hector and Albina (Gagnon) Desautels. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School. She then attended Rivier University in Nashua, NH.
Miss Desautels worked for many years as a Medical Technologist in the former North Adams Regional Hospital before retiring in 1993.
She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams.
She is survived by her sister, Aline Carey of Woburn, MA;
eight nieces and nephews, including Steven and Anthony Zaloga, Ellen, Michael, and Peter Flynn, Ann McBride and David and James Carey as well as many great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Jean Flynn and Muriel Zaloga, two nephews, Jack and Daniel Zaloga and by a niece Meg Woloss.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 14, at 12:00 Noon in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams.
Burial will follow in Maple Street Cemetery, Adams.
Calling hours are Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service in the funeral home.
